Over 550 fans!

I have over 550 fans on my Facebook page right now for my photography! I feel honored and excited that I have so many fans of my work, and I could not have come as far as I have without all of my fan that have supported me from the beginning! Before I leave again for college, I want to do a giveaway of sorts for my fans, but am not exactly sure what I want to do yet. In the meantime, I have been catching up on editing my nature and pictures from San Diego, and I am also looking forward to sessions coming up! Something else I have been doing lately as I have posted in my previous entry is entering giveaways for photography! They are so much fun, and the prizes you can win are amazing!

I want to share another great giveaway going on that Sarah Sweetman Photography is hosting!

Here is the link:

Photography Giveaways

Lately, I have been entering some giveaways that fellow photographers have been hosting on their Facebook pages and blogs! Giveaways are an awesome way for photographers and other businesses to say thanks to fans, and to also promote some awesome vendors as well!! I for example have been introduced to so many new stores selling photography props that I would not have seen had it not been introduced in the giveaway! it is also fun to enter the giveaways and check out all of the vendors and see what you can win! One featured giveaway that I am entering is one by Kamieo Photography, who are giving out some great prizes to five different winners! Here is the link to their Blog featuring their great giveaway!!

Day 28-The Future

Day 28-The Future

When I think of my future I think of many different areas. I think about my future in college, my future job, my future home, my future family, and my future livelihood. There is one person that is connected to all of these thoughts, and that is my boyfriend Matt. I have dated Matt for almost 3 and half years, and I can not see my life without him. When I see my future, I see him--I don't know where we'll live, what jobs we will have and where we will work, or how many children we will have, but I do see us married, and being together. The picture I took to represent this is that of my church, to represent us being together in marriage in the future. The future for me is both scary and exciting and some days I am looking forward to it, and others I am not. Knowing that Matt is in my life (and other family and close friends too) makes the future look a little less unpredictable, because no matter what happens, I will always have my loved ones to fall back on, and can count on them for being there no matter what.

Day 27-What They Say

Day 27-What They Say

I decided to use Kava again as my subject for today's theme. Although we do not know exactly what she is saying, after having her for almost ten years, we have a good idea of what she is saying to us by how she howls or barks (although she mostly howls). I happened to capture her howling around dinner time because she was hungry for her dinner! Kava has always had a certain howl for when she is hungry, and I could recognize it a mile away! In this particular picture she is telling mom to get her bowl of food ready for her! She also has a different howl for wanting to go for a walk, wanting to go to bed, of course her howl to welcome her family friends when they come home--which warms my heart, since she is always so excited when a member of her family comes home! Although we do not speak the same language--it is safe to say that we understand each other. She also knows what different words we say are and what they mean as well (ex. want to go for a walk?, time for bed! treat! etc.)

Day 26-Bromance

Day 26-Bromance

I know it is mid way into March, and although the "Joy of Love" project is now over with, and I have posted and updated all of my pictures on Facebook, I decided that I wanted to finish my blog on the project as well! The theme on February 26th was "Bromance". In thinking about this theme I kept thinking about my dad and his love for the Green Bay Packers again. No one that I know personally loves the Packers more than my dad! He goes to almost every home game, has almost everything Packers, keeps up to date on them, and also has his own little tailgates when the Packers play away games!! It was one of my dad's dreams come true to see the Green Bay Packers win the Superbowl this year! He was so thrilled, and is still talking about it!

Day 25-When You Love Them the Most

Day 25-When You Love Them the Most

I know this is March, but I do want to finish the Joy of Love Project! :) The theme for February 25th is "When You Love Them the Most". This was hard because I always love Matt and the rest of my family, and it was hard to pick one particular moment or circumstance. What I decided on was when Matt helps me fix my computer. Matt is and always has been great with computers, and he has helped my family and I many times with our computers. Whether I can not get a document to open right, my computer has a virus, or I need some help with an HTML code on this blog, Matt has always helped me with my computer problems. In this picture he is helping me download something on my computer that I was not able to get to work, and like always, in just seconds it worked perfectly for him! I not only love that he is great with computers, but that he is nice and loving enough to help me whenever I have questions or problems with my computer.

Day 24-Where You Met

Day 24-Where You Met

The location I chose was not the first location where Matt and I met. Matt and I met for the first time in July of 2007, two months before we met again. We met at our friend Jessy's house for his 18th Birthday, but we both didn't talk to each other, and went our own way. We spent some time at the county fair after we had lunch and cake. We ended up riding a ride together, but we were both shy, and didn't end up talking much. September rolled around, and my friends thought it was a good idea to set us up, and I was reluctant, and I have never been the one to like being set up with anyone. I agreed to give it a chance, and long story short, after hanging out a few times, we hit it off, and started dating on Oct. 1st 2007.

A week or so before we started dating officially we went on a date on our own to get to know each other better. We got sub sandwiches to go, and ate them at a local park. We went to the park, and ate the subs in the car because it ended up raining. After the rain was over, we sat by the river, and we just talked some more. I was nervous, because I was wondering if he was going to hug me, invite me to homecoming, etc. We walked around more and we at down at a different part of the park and he put his arm around me, and we held hands for the first time. I knew then and there that he was something special, and that I never wanted to lose him.
